NELSON.
Last night. It is understood that Mr Oreo. Hodsoa,
recently appointed Secretary to the poison Education Board, at a salary of £350, has resigned. There ha 3 been some correspondence in. the papers, from which it appears that the action of the Board in creating so expensive an office was disapproved, it being alleged that a smaller salarywould be sufficient. The weather here continues fine.
