Thisday. Arrival of the s.s. Te Anau.

Capt. Carey arrived here this morning at 5 a.m., with the Te Anau, she left Melbourne at 3 p.m. on the 10th. Arrived at Hobartown at 10.15 a.m. on the 12th. She left at 4.30 p.m., arrived off Solanders at 6.30 p.m. yesterday. Slowed engines till her evi-ivel. Thick foggy weather the whole distance, and which necessitated slowing engines on several occasion!. Passengers — for Auckland Mrs Smith, Wright, Mr and Mrs Milne, Misses Emma, Harriett, Agnes, and Jessie Milne, and 23 through steerage passengers.
