This evening the Canterbury Coursing Club received 28 nominations for the Derby for au unlimited number of dog puppies, at five guineas each ; and for the Oaks, an unlimited number of bitch puppies, at five guineas—2s entries.

The grain market is still quiet, there are sellers of wheat at 4s to 4s 3d for forward delivery, but no transactions are reported. It is almost certain that a large quantity of wheat will be shipped for England so as to take advantage of the home market.
