The following hints may be found useful:—To drive away fleas from a bed or clothes, put a sprig of wormwood in the bed or clothes; to expel flies from a room, sprinkle the walls with water into which a few drops of penny royal hare been poure3 ; to protect the face and hands from mosquitoes, anoint with koma or oil of rosemary.
