Lodge of Light.

The annual installation of the officer of this lodge was held last night in the Masonic Hall. There was a large attendance, and Past Master Climo was the officiating officer, ably supported by the 1 Fast Masters of the lodge. It was anticipated that the Provincial Grand Lodge would be present, but owing to the serious illness of the principal officers the visit was postponed. The following were the officers installed :—W. Master, Bro. Win. Finlay; S.W., Bro. Foster; J.W., Bro. Comer; Treasurer, Bro. O. Garrett; Secretary, Bro. Patterson ; S.D., Bro. Gentles; J.D., Bro. Hoskings ; 1.G., Bro. Kitcbing ; O. Gk, Bro. Koss ; Stewards, Bros. Dunstan and Hoskings.* After the concluding ceremonies, all present adjourned to the Governor Bowen Hotel, where a sumptuous BANQUET was spread. The chair was occupied by Bro. Fiulay, supported by Past Masters Bros. Cliino, McCullough, Bawden, Wildman and Brodie. The good things were done ample justice to, after which the toast list commenced wilh that of the " Queen and Graft," proposed from the chair, followed by the National Anthum ; that of H.11.H. the Prince of Wales, by "God Bless the Prince of Wales," both being proposed in a few suitable words by Bro. Finlay and received enthusiastically. In proposing the toast of " The three Grand Lodges," the Chairman congratulated the members on the harmony which prevailed among them, and the good which such a spirit must exercise over the relations of the subordinate lodges.—" The Old Ehine Wine" was then sung, and Bro. Wildman responded on behalf of the District Grand Lodge of the English Constitution ; Bro. Brodie on behalf of the Irish Grand Lodge; and Bro. McCullough for the Scotch Grand Lodge. "The newly installed Master and Officers," was proposed by Bro. Climo. He spoke highly of Bro. Finlay, and expressed his gratification at the selection of the other officers, anticipating a prosperous year for the lodge. A song, "A Sentinel and I," by Bro. S. Catran followed the toast.

Bro. Finlay, ia responding, while thanking the brethren for their good wishes, said the greatest credit was due to Bro. Clirno for the satisfactory position of the lodge. Bros. Comer and Poster) Wardens, responded on behalf of the officers

The health of Bro. Cliino was nest proposed and responded to, "Bro. Airey singing " The Merry Homes of England."

Bro. Bawden proposed " The Sister Lodges," responded to by Bros. McCul* lough and Potterton, alter which Bro. Brown sang,' " I'm a Friar of Orders Grey."

The toast of "The Visitors," "The Locul Governing Bodies," " The Press," " The Ladies," " Poor and Distressed Masons," and " The Host and Hostess," were successively proposed, several songs being given by the brethren.

The proceedings closed at an early hour, all departing highly pleased with the manner in which the evening's ceremonies had been carried out.
