ALBURNIA.
There was considerable activity in the stock of the above-named company this nioming, the shares advancing to 955. The cause is, presumably, the discovery of a small pa^ch of good specimen stone in the winze being sunk at 70 feet level near Whau boundary. These specimens are richer than any yet obtained from the ruu, and a firslrate show was left in the face. The manager expected to fire another shot this afternoon, when no doubt a rich haul will be obtained.
