ITINERANT LECTURERS.
(To the Editor of the Evening Star.) Sib, —Surely it must be a rery profitable investment this spouting about on religions matters. If a man can realise £4900 on a trip for third rate stars we shall have a swarm of such talent, after the Henneberry and Chiniquy style. Suppose you and I start at once studying the philosophy of black and white! I will positively assert in my lecture that black is white; you, on the contrary, in yours assert that white is black, and give astounding reasons for so doing. We can travel, and we had better do it quick, or elie we shall have ten thousand German Professors and Polish Counts outstripping us on the principle of how many blue beans make five, and whether Adam " was de fust man, and Eve she was the tudder " —in fact, I am not sure that all Germany will not be down upon us when the news arrives in that wonderful rich country. There will be Professor Schwartz, Professor Weiss, and Professor Scheice, &c, &c— l am, &c, NICHVIBSTHN.
