Arrived : s.s. Arawata. She left Hobson's Bay at 3 p.m. on the 6th; arrived at Hobart Town at 7 aim. on the Bth, and left again same day at 2.30 p.m. She made the land at noon on the 12th, and experienced light variable winds with fine weather throughout the passage. Saloon passengers, from Melbourne: For Bluff —Misses Fitt (2), Mr and Mrs Presdon, Mr Bond and Mr Hirst, and 21 tons cargo; for Dunedin—Mrs and Mrs Bonning and family, Messrs McFarlane, Thomson, J. Aikman, Llewellyn, and C. Cook, 60 steerage, and 70 tons cargo ; for Lyttelton—Mr Pittman, Mr and Mrs L. Davies, Miss Bestall, Mrs Thomas and child, Mr and Mrs Douglas, 17 steerage and 16 tons cargo; for Welling* ton—Mr F. S. Benjamin, Mrs, Miss, and Mr Edwards, Mr J. 01 Kirk, Mr C. Forthwith, Mr and two Misses Dngan, Miss Patterson, 9 steerage, and 61 tons cargo; for Papier—4 in the steerage.
