Brown wrote, applying for water to work a small water engine on E«ranui Beacn, Thin had already been dealt with by the Water Supply Committee. pueihi. : A letter was read from Mr Elliott, of ''Bushy Park Puriri, enclosing a copy of a petition from Puriri.residentiutd Mr P. C. Dean, asking that the ChdMb Mission Society assist them in manfg a road. The writer stated that the petition had been returned' endorsed. that the Society would do nothing in the .matter of, road making, and that they should look to the County Council. ■ He renewed his former application for a road from the deep, water landing at Puriri to the township. * Referred to the Engineer., *
