DUNEDIN.
This day. At the City Court this morning, James Midgely and Thomas Carrier were charged with stabbing Elisha. Harris early this morning. Harris, whose dying deposition was taken, states that the prisoners came to his house, knocking at the door, he got out of bed to order them away, and as he went hit Midgely. The latter stabbed him on the breast, both men then went away. The prisoners were formally remanded for a week.
