To-day opened finer than yesterday, and there wai a good attendance on the course. Everything went rery well.

With the exception of Bundarra tnd Golden Crown all the horses started. Thorpe rode his own horse (Magician), which was the favourite. Mr Young effected a splendid stnrt. Indian Warrior got away first and Magician last. Won by half a length. Sunbeam two lengthi. behind, and Indian Warrior a long way in * the rear. Thuttixg- Race, Distance Handicap, 8 sow. Mr Carey's Maggie—scratch 1 Mr Wilkinson's Fool—-250 yards 2 Keopu's Tararu—3oo yards 3 IMr Gordon's Tortoise—3o3 yards ... 0 Mr Rogers' Charlie—3oo yards 0 This was a very pretty race. All the horses, with the exception of Maggie, broke. Publicans' Pubsb, 30 sots. Distance, 1} miles. Entrance, 3 sots. ■-. Mr Owen McGee's Bundarra, aged, 7it.. a 1 Walsh's Golden Crown, aged, 7st 71bs ... 2 Venus and Indian Warrior. were scratched. Bundarra led from the first, Magician being a good way behind. Golden Crown maintained the second position throughout. Snowstorm war nowhere.
