Mr Fish Unseated.
Mr Simpson, Kesident Magistrate has unseated Mr Fish, and has declared Mr Walter duly elected Mayor. He held that Fish's sub-contract certainly came within the meaning, if not within the terms of the act.
The Star of the South reports speaking off the Brothers, the ship Taranaki from London for this port. Passengers all well, but the medical man died on the passage.
