ALBURNIA.
Another retorting was finished to-day for the yield of 789 ounce* of gold. This is the result of the crushing •ioce-^Ved-ncsdny last. The yield for the w«ek is IH(3S ounces. Crushing will go on till tit* new year, and there will be only two
holidays, viz., Christmas Day and New Years Pay. Tho total yield for the month should be fully as good as that of last month. The manager informs me that there is no material change in the mine since his weekly report waa published. It is looking; well all through. In the 160 feet western drive there is a good lode showing* gold every breaking down. There will be a breaking down in this face on Monday morning.
