Last night.

At the E.M.! Courtii the evidence was taken for the defence in the action of William Wade of Auckland, v. Guiseppe Chiarini, proprietor of the circus, in which the plaintiff claimed £50 damages. Mr A Thompson appeared for the defence, and Mr' Wynu Williilms tor" th^ plaintiff. The evidence for the defence, went to show that tha plaintiff's horse took fright before the zebras were in sight! and that the plaintiff did not seem to be greatly injured by tha accident. j |
