At the annual distribution of the prizes at Manse, to the scholars of the Christian Brothers' School, Bishop Redwood Raid the Catholics of Wellington might well bo proud of their, school, which an unwise and unjust legislature had compelled them to erect. He congratulated the Catholics on what they had done, and hoped they would go on until the sight of their independence and the spectacle of their success would finally bring their rulers to a seme of justice.
