I Sandhurst; the Ist of March, 1878. } I have been investigating Meesrs Sander and Sons' Eucalypti Extract store its dis-, I covery, and I s hare to aVlmit that there is besides it no medicament I know of, of such ijuniversal'effect" dn, tho human system. I observed in the first instance that it cherts completely «U in flam mat ions of whatever kind—itiflamrnation of the chesty -liiiigs^ ail I Ihrout adept ions, »uch aa bronchitis, and diptheria. JMa«*dou(tall, Town Clerk. •-•'•■ Statutory Declaration. - — I, Franz Raabe, of Ironburk, Sandhurst, in the Colony of Victoria, Australia, do solemnly and fiiicerely declare, that guided by \%h» desire that all. who may beccm c afflicted as I was may be enabled to tnke advautag*" P' •"J publication, I make Ihc following declaration: On the 25ih June, 1877, my son Alfred, fix years of age, was accidentally hurt with an axe on Ihe knee. lat once look all pains to procure tntdkal as»i«tancey by calling at first on Dr Austin, who was subsequently assisted by Dra Penfold and MHCjtillivray. However, in spite ot all'the combined efforts of the said gentleman, the malady took such a b«d turn (hat the patient wbs Iyit>g,in uninterrupted wound-fever, and on the 17tl» August, 1877/ the opinion was given by Dr Macgillivray, that an amputation of the injured limb had beennie inoperative, in order to save life. At tliis juncture I culled on Mettsrs Sander and Sotp, procuring sorue of th-ir Extract of the £ucul)ptu« Globulu*. and by the application of ihe same. I hid the ?aiit-faction of seeing my con within i furluight out of all danger, and to-d»y he ia recovered. I may just add that, it was niien the crisis had been reached, ihat the ex'met referred to was first applied. I sbstun from expreesing nuy feelings towardp Meesrs Sunder «nd Sons iv this dedaralion, but anyone muy ioisgii c them b Uer than I can describe them in words.. And I .make, thia solemn declaration eonecienlions y belie Ting the same'lo be true, and by virtue of the provisions of- an Act of the Parliament of Vie orin, rendering persons making'a false declai at ion punishable for wilful and corrupt poijury.—FEAKZ Haabg, Decikn.d at Sandhurai,,in the Colony of Victoria, this aeyeuteemh day of October, one thousand eight hundred and seventy- seven, befoie me, Moritz Cohn, J.P. ITS CLAIM A» A CURATIVE. It Las now become the fashion with the inventors or discoverers of remedial agents to claim something little short of infallibility and universality of cure for their respective agents. Messrs Sander «hd 80ns do nothing of the sort. They have confidence that their oil possesses inuny virtues; but the full extent of these they do not know yet;. They are now.' collecting data, and they are most careiul and searching in performing this. It is quite cure then, that their eucalypti oil can fairly assert itself to be a grand panacea for many of the ilia that flesh ia heir to. In Scarlet, Typhoid, or any com* of Fever, nothing will protect better against contagion than a few drops of the oil poured in the pnlm of the hand, and rubbed in, in order to liberate the vapors, or sprinkled over the clothes. The perfume will be noticed for a great length of time. For Children Attending School*, the tame mode may be. adopted. In Cote* of Sick Mit, a few drops pat into a saucer, and put into the room will, being in etherio oil, evaporate, and fill the \ room with the purifying vapor. Are no* obliged to Travel! A few drops I occasionally rubbed on the body, will protect against any contugion you may be exposed to, I in coming in direct contact with sick persons, i or in sleeping in the same room with, or in i beds occupied previously by sick persons. i All Rotdkecpers will do well to sprinkle from time to time in drawers, where linen is ! usually kept, a few drops of the pure essenI tiai oil. It produces «o spots whatever, as every particle of it evaporates, and nothing remains. ; In thort, where a disinfectant is needed, the j pure esreutial ecualypii oil ought to be the one,you have recourse to, and no family outfit to be without it. I For all (Pounds, Cuts, Burns, Scatiti»g$ x Ulcers, and Cancerous Wounds, a piece oi linen wrapped round the suffering part, and moistened with a fsw drops of the.eucalypti easeiice, will stop all pain, and effect a speedy cure. In canes wuere a piece of linen cannot be applied, the moistening of the suffering part with the pu>e 0 1 will do as well. In Case of Colds moisten the nostrils with a few drops and inhale the vapour, and you will fuel the immediate relief, and entire riddance of the" heat. I In all cases where the Lutigs mag It Affected, the above-mentioned process, continually repeated, will be the best that can bt advised. In cases of Rheumatism, a mixture oi one i part of the pure essential eucalypti oi! with three pans of spirits ot wine, welt rubbeti iv the suffering part, has acted better ttmr any other remedy. In all case* of Inflammation, the «il uiaj I be applied to tho part affected.; In severe cases of Toothache of rheumatu origin, the pure essence may be applied 01 the external part of the face. In cases of Inflammation of the Eyes, applj the pure oil to ihe outside of the eyelids. Headache and Jtheumatic Pains in tl)9 Keen are positively removed and cured by rubbing the oil on the effected parts. For many Cases of Severe Brvisee tht oil has proved the best remedy. . Inwardly used, take three or four drops ir half a tumbler of water. The essence eiiecti » most surprising change of the whole ion I stitution, correcting indigestion, ajid creating a huakhy appetite. ftg°No other essence is genuine except thai I in the vials bearing on the labels our siguature and trade mark.
