The Pro* visional Directors will also endeavor Mr make provision for ample rtserves for religious, educational, recreation, and public^ health purposes, as suggested by the Minister of Lands to the deputation which lately waited upon the Government with the view of bringing this scheme under their notice and favorable consideration. • The payments are to be computed on some wel!-dffined, liberal,, and easilyurderstood system of deferred payments, to be made by. instalments extending over a period of 3 say not less fhan ten (10) years. Each subscribing member wi 1 be required to deposit a sum 1 equal to ten porcenlum of the total value of the share of land he applies for before his application can be entertained, and a further payment of two pprcentum per month on said total value umil such time as the block to be applied for is ncquircd by the Association, and possession can bo given to applicants, or until such time as the Association shall make arrangements with the Govern* ment for allotting land to tho subscribers, provided always that such monthly payments of two i ercenlum do not extend to a further period than six months from date of applies* tion." All monies received are to be paid into the Colonial Bank cf Sew Zealand to the Association's account, to be opened-in the, name of Ihe Trustees, on fixed deposit bearing interest, and no withdrawals or payments to be made. by cheque against auch account without the authority and signature' of the Treasurer, one of the Trustees, and three Directors being first obtained. Agents, or Acting-Dirpctors, for the A*bo« ciation will also bo appointed in all (he centres of population throughout the provincial district as soon as practicable.
