Arrival of tta a. a. Botoroa.
The Aotorua has arrived at liussell. She left Sydney December 6th. "Passenger*—Saloon : For Auckland—P. Holt, Mrs Holt, and eighteen otberg, and 25 steerage. Fo^ Wellington — Messrs Graham, Aekhatn, Reed, and 13 steerage and 125 tons cargo. For Napier—23 tons cargo. For Lyttelton—Messrs Smythe, Smith, Burgess, and 10 steerage, and 23 tons cargo. For Dunedin— Mr Curton •nd ten steerage, and 25 tons cargo. Pftfltor Chiniquy. A cablegram has been received announcing that Father Chiniquy leaves Sydney for Auckland on the twenty*third init. Dempsey's labourers and carters, failing to obtain payment of overdue wa^es, ■truck work, 'lhey hare engaged a solicitor with the intention of suing for the money in the Resident Magistrate's Court next week. The aggregate amount of the claims are £771.
