SOUTH AUSTRALIA.
Adelaide, November 24.
A Trust and Agency Company upoa the model of the Trust Companies in South Africa, has been formed, with an influential directory—Mr Abrahams as manager. It is not intended at present to apply to Parliament for an Act. In reference to the mail service, the Hon. T. King, Minister of Education, on behalf of South Australia, has arranged that £25,000 shall be raised, that the tariff for the next 18 months shall be taken as a basis for an adjustment. He i* also negotiating for the reduction of press telegraph rates to 3a per hundred words for through rates between all Australian Colonies. Victoria has withdrawn her demand for £2500.
