Kitchener, of the Telegraph I)- pnrtment made 48, the highest score for the Artillery.andDcnnes fortheCormorants iumlo 36. The Artillery entertained tho Cormorants at dinner at the Caledonian lloli-l after the match.
James Median Oonncll was charged at tho Police Court with failing to support his wife and four children, being £30 in orrcars with his maintenance payments. The prisoner was remanded to Christchurch.
The Amateur Athletic Club sports were largely attended, the one mile race was won by Waters of Papatoitoi.
