Macdougali, 'town Clerk. Statutory Declaration. I, Franz Hoabe, of Jronburk, Sandhurst, in the Colony of Victoria, Australia, do solemnly and sincerely declare, that guided by the desire that all who may becone itfllicted as I was may ba enabled to take advantage of my publication, I make the following declaration : On tho 25th June, 1877, my eon Alfred, six years of age, was accidentally hurt with an axe on the knee. lat once took ull pains to procure medical aeeislance, by calling at flrst on Dr Austin, who was subsequently assisted by Dra Penfold and Macgillivray. However, in spite of all the combined efforts of the said gentlemen, the malady took such a bad turn tbat the patient was lying in uninterrupted wound-fever, and on the 17th Au^u.4, 1877, tho opinion was given by Dr Macgillivray, that an amputution of the injured limb had i become imperative, in order to save life. At this juncture I colled on Messrs Sander end | Son?, procuring some of tJuir Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulins, and by the application of the same I had the satisfaction of seeing my eon within ii fortnight out of all danger, and to-day he is recovered. I may just add thai; it was when the crisis had be<*n reached, that the exln.ct referred to was first applied. I abettin from expressing my feelings towards Messrs Sander and Sons in this declaration, but anyone may imagine them b-tter than I can describe them in words. And I mako this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, ursd by virtue of the provisions of un Act of the Parliament of Vic'oria, rendering persons making a false declaration punishable for wilful and corrupt perjury.—Fbakz Kaabk, Declan d at Sandhurst in the Colony of Victoria, this seventeenth day of October, ono thousand eight hundred and eerenly Ecven, before me, Moriiz Colin, J.P. ITS CLAIM AS A CURATIVE. It has now become the fashion with the inventors or discoverers of remedial agents to claim something little short of infallibility and universality of euro for their respective agents. Messrs Sander and Sens tio nothing of the Eorr. They have confidence that thoir oil possesses ninny virtues; but the full extent of these they do not know yet. They are now collecting data, and they arc mostcareful and searching in performing this. It is quite euro then, that thoir eucalypti oil can fairly assert itself to bo a grand panacea for, many of the ills that fleeh is heir to. In Scarlet, Typhoid, or any case of Fever, nothing will protect better against contagion than a few drops of the oil poured in the palm of the hand, and rubbed in, in order to liberato the vapors, or sprinkled over tho clothes. The perfume will bs> noticed for a great length of time. • For Children Attending Schools, tho same mode inoy be adopted. In Cases of Sickness, a few drops put into a saucer, and put into the room -will, being an etheric oil, evaporate, and fill tho room with the purifying vapor. Are you obliged to Travel! A few drops occasionally rubbed on tho body, will protect ogaiust any contugion you may be exposed to, in coming in direct contact with sick persona, or in sleeping in the sarno room with, or in bedß occupied previously by eick persons. In all cases tvfar6 the Lungs may he Affected, the nbove-rncr.tioued prooeas, continually repeated, will bo tho best that can be advised.
