Last night.Sttiled: The San Francisco, schooner, for Valparaiso.
The third Annual Show of the Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Association was held at Forbury Park to day. The weather was not good, the rain falling during a portion of the day. The arrangements were cood, and the .entries *how an increase of fifteen orer last year. Cattle: A good lot, including imported animals, bred by Mr Gardiner, Victoria. .T/he f»t cattle, shown- by Flag Bros., of Akaroa, were remarkably good. Sheep were also numerous, and of good quality, but the implements were not numerous. The only classes judged to-day were shorthorn and Ayreshire cattle, fat. cattle, implements, and sheep, tfhorthorn bull, any age, A. J. McFariane. In fat^cattle, J. Garforth, of the N.Z. and A.L. Co., and Flag Bros, were the most successful. In implements, Reid and Gray took all the first prizes. In merino.sheep, the Hon. R. Campbell took nenrly all the first prizes ; Murray, Roberts and Co., and G. L. Sise and Co., being next ia order.
A man named 51 cKee, working in Mullocky Gully, was killed by a fall of earth on Monday. The Cup value, £10 10s, was won by R. Campbell. The butcher's prise of £10 10s, for cattle and sheep, was won by Jhe N Z and A.L. Co.
