The Thames Rifle Bangers will compete for prizes on Satunlaj' as notified by advertisement. The first set of prizes consist of two pigs, presented by Mr Alley of Hikulnia, and Mr Smith of the Miranda. Also a money prize by Mr W. Flicker, and a bottle of spirits by Mr Twohill. Tim second set consists of a beautiful smoking cap, presented by Mrs Kyder, and a silver plated tea pot by Mr Dickey, ironmonger, " Auckland. These two prizes are set opart entirely for members who never won a prize in the company, the object of (he donors being to increase the number of shootists in the Bangers.
We would again cnll attention to the concert and dance at the Tararu School this evening.
Tbkdehs are called by the Hospital Committee for six months supplies to that institution.

Me T. Murphy has received a telegram tp.the effect that the Coromandel Cricket Team will arrive here on Sunday. The following are the names of the members of the team: —Messrs Gatland (captain), Eumsey, Higginson, Harrison, Hornibrook. Bceson, Mercer, Goldsworthy, Cadman, Hovel!, and Jervis. The.Selection Committee of Thames C.C. met today and decided to play the following members against the Coromandclites on Mouday :—Steedniau, Burgess, Lawless, Spencer, Smeaton, IDgginton, Bull, Munio. Gray, Crump and Murphy; emergency, West and Buttle. Mr Heron has kindly accepted the onerous duties of umpire. A practice match will be played tomorrow afternoon against all-coni<Ts, to be captained by Mr Gellion. Play will commence at 2 p.m. sharp.
