OUR FIRE BRIGADE.
(To the Editor of the Ereuiug Star.) .. Sra, —Being on a Tisit to the Thames, t was in Brown street yesterday when the fire-bells rung out nn alarm. 1 can assure you that I was surprised to see the smartness with, which your Brigade turned out. In less than two minutes something like 1,8 or 20 firemen were on the spot in full uniform, and readj for action, and I came to the conclusion that the people of the Thames might well be proud of their Fire Brigades. —l mm,
