WELLINGTON.
Last night.
A couple of land slips occurred near Pakurntatu, cm the Wollington-Foatber-aton railwaj- last night, which blocked the line all day. A yang of men are now working at the slip, which it U expected will be cleared to-raorrow.
At an inquest today ou the bodies of tho deceased persons—Edward Miller, Fanuie Miller, aud Clarence Millor— medical men gave evidence to effect that they believed the deed was committed by the son iv an attack of acute mania, brought on possibly by reading an account of the suicide of tbe young man Taylor on Monday. The Jury returned a verdict—"That the parents were killed by their son, who was in an unsound state of mind, and that he immediately afterwards committed suicide."
