GREYMOUTH.
Last night. Sailed : Wallabi, for Wanganui. Mr Chas. Broad, R.M. and Warden for Grey Valley, died this morning at his residence, Greymouth. A splendid sample of stone was struck last night in the Bonanza claim by Boase and party, of the Langdon's reefs. The stone is sparkling with gold.; It is dipping to north and widening. A sample was crushed and yielded a pennyweight to the dish. The news has caused great excitement in town.
