ALBURNIA.
More Specimens. The breaking down last night on the reef at the 70ffc. level produced 2cwt of picked stone and 70lbs of specimens. Crushing of the picked stone was commenced at the Herald single stamper to-day, the manager having sent down about 4 cwt., some of which was from last night's breaking down. This picked stone is going very well, and mny produce lOOozs gold. The general crushing to-day is shaping better than ever. A breaking down at the mine this morning gave lewt. of picked stone leaving a good show of gold on the face. There is apparently no change either in the size or quality of the loda—if there is any it j is for the better. The run of gold has now been followed 40 feet. The bulk of the picked stone comes from tho hanging wall, but some of the richest has been derived from the footwall. Including some 3ewt already crushed altogether lialf-a-ton of specimens and picked stone have been obtained from this run.
