The Cologne Gazette reports froruKettwig that a woman has just had five children, foar boys and one girl, at a birth. They only lived a few hours. Though very small, they were well-formed. A "woven book has been manufactured at Lyons, the whole of the letter-press being executed in silken threads. Portraits, verses, and bilef addresses have often been reproduced by tho loom, but an entire volume from tho weaver's hand is a novelty. A man being once asked why he talked to himself, candidly answered ; " Because I like to talk to a man of sense."
