TESTIMONIALS.

Certificate. Sandhurst, (ho Ist of March^lßTS. I bnve bcr-!i investigating Messrs Sunder and Sona' Eucalypti Extract since its discovery, and I lmvo to admit that there ia besides it. no medicament I know of, of such universal effect on the human system. X observed in tho first isstaneo that it checks completely nil* infinnunat ions of whatever kind—iiiiuuur.ufion of the chest, lungs, all throat nffpetions, such as bronchitis, and diptheria. It alleviates and cures till pains of rhumintitt r.nture, neuralgiß, &c, I have used it with unparalleled bucoosb in swellings, bruises, sprains, wounds of all kinds, and of most eerions nature, as well a3 in all disorders of tho bowels, diarrhoea, &c. lam fully convinced that the invention of that medicament will meet with the greatest estimation, and I gladly ncltnowledgo its merits for the benefit of the public,—Johh CinncK> biunk, AUK, L.R.C.S.E., Health Officer. 2nd March, 1878. I certify to the seal of the Council of the City of Sandhurst being aflixed to this document. D. TMaedougall, Town Clerk. Statutory Declaration. I, Franz Rnnbe, of Ironburk, Sandhurst, in the Colony of Victoria, Australia, do colcmnly and sincerely declare, that guided by the desire that all v.he may become itfllicted as I was limy bo enubled to lake advantage of my publication, I make the following declaration : On the 25th June, 1877, my eon Alfred, six years of ape, was accidentally hurt with an axe on tho knee. lat once took all pains to procure medical assistance, by calling at first on Dr Auefin, who was subsequently assisted by Drs Penfold and Muc^illivray. However, in spite of ftll tho combined efforts of tho said gentiemen, the malady took such a bad turn that the patient wns lying in uninterrupted wound-fever, and on t!«t> lfr.h August, 1877, the opinion was given by Dr Macgillivrny, that an unvputution of the injured limb had become inipernlire, iv order to euve life. At this juncture I culled on Metsrs Zander and Sous, procuring sou o of tin ir .Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulin*. &nd by the application of the sam« I had the sntisftiction of seeing my eon within •» forliiighfc out. of till (lunger, and to-d«y he is recovered. I n)»y just add thafc it was when the crisis had been reached, that the extract referred to was first applied. Ittbetein from expressing my fcelit.gs toward? Messrs S.-aidei- nnd Sons in this declaration, but anyone in::y imagine them b-tter ibtsn I can describe them in words. And I make this f oleum declaration eonecicntiousiy believing the same to bo hue, and by virtuo of the provisions of an Act of the Parliament of Victoria, rendering persons making a f«ko declaiution punishable for wilful and corrupt peijury.— Fjwnz iUABE, Declarid at Sandhurst, in the Colony of Victoria, this seventeenth day of October, ene thousand eight hundred and eerenty- seven, befoie me, Moritz Cohn, J.P. ITS CLAIM AS A CUBATIYI. It has now become the fashion with the in ventors or discoverers of l'emedial agents to claim Bociething little short of infallibility and univereality of cure for their respective agents. Msesro Sand^v and Sena c:p nothiniof the sort. They have confidence that their oil possesses ninny virtuoa; but the full extent of these they do not know yet. They are now collecting data, nnd they are most careful and searching in performing this. It is quite sure then, that their eucalypii oil can fairly assert itself to be a grund panacea for many of the ills that flesh is heir to.

In Scarlet, Typhoid, or any cane of Fever, nothing will protect bettor agaiußt contagion than a few drops of the oil poured in the I palm of tbe hand, and rubbed in, in order to liberate the vapor?, or sprinkled over the ; clothes. The perfume will bo noticed for a great length of time. For Children Attending Schools, the same mode may bo adopted. In Cases of Sickness, & few drops put into a saucer, and put into the room "will, being an ctheric oii, evaporate, and fill the room with the purifying vapor. Are you obliged to Travel! A few drops occasionally rubbed on the body, will protect ugainst any contagion you inuy bo exposed to, in coining iv direct, contact with sick persons, or in sleeping in the s«rae room with, or in beds occupied previously by fcielr persons. All Sottlkeepers will do well to sprinkle from time to time in drawers, whore linen is usually kept, a few drops of the pure essential oil. it produces no ,spots whatever, as every particle of ifc evaporates, and nothing remain?. In short, tvhere a disinfectant is needed, the pure easentiul ecuaiypti oil ought to be the ono you have recourse to, and no family ought to bo without it. For all Wounds, Cuts, Burns, Scaldings, Ulcers, and Cancerous Wounds, ft pifce of linen wrapped round tho suffering part, r.wd moistened with a few drops of tho eucalypti essence, will slopail'paui, and off ret a spent} cure, in cusea where a pieca of linen cannot be applied, tho moistening of the Buttering part, with tha puro 0:1 will'do a-s well. In Case of Colds moisten fcho nostrils vri'h a few tlrojiß and inlmlo the vapour, and you will feel tho immediate relief, and entire.) riddance cf the heat. In all cases where the Lungs may he Ajj'ccled, the ahovo-mentionnd proceed, continually repealed, wiil be the best that can he advised. In cases of Rheumatism, a mixture of one purt of tha puru eaetutial eucalypti oil with three pans of spirits ol wine, well rubbed in the suffering part, Las acted belter than any other remedy. In all cases of Inflammation, the ©il urny be applied to tho p.rt afflicted. In severe cases of Toothacho of rheumatic origiD, ihf- pure essence inuy bo applied oil the extern;:] part of the face. In cases of Inflammation of Hie Eyes, apply the pure oi! to she ouUido of tho eyelids. Headache and Hhmimalio Pains in the Head are posit ire! y removed and cured by rubbing the oil on tha »ilcc!ed parts. For many Cases of Severe JBrtiise3 tho oil has proved the best remedy. Inwardly used, tako three or four drops in half a tumbler of water. Tlio easenco effects a most surprising change of the whole <onelitution, correcting indigestion, and creating a healthy appetite.
