" " I didn't see ye down where we was riding on cakes of ice in the slip," replied the other. '* I know ye didn't. This has bin the hardest Sunday I ever put on in earth." " Dad sick ? " " JN'o, dad's in Saginaw, but nia'm got some gold in her front teeth yesterday, and she was bound to ro to church today if it killed her.
