This day.
William Robert Christie, an elderly respectable looking and apparently well educated man, was charged with ragrancy this morning. It appeared he has been sleeping iv the bush, in llio Botanical
Gardens, six or seven wcekti, being without money or «roployment. Ho was remanded for v week.
At. the inquest on Joseph Senrles, the evidence showed that death resulted from an overdose of chloral. A verdict was returned in accordance with the evidence, a rider being added condemning the reckless manner in which chloral was handled and dealt out, and urging Government to plaea restrictions apon the trade to prevent uuoh occurrences.
