SJaedongHl', Town Clerk. Statutory Declaration. I, Franz Uaube, of Ironbark, k'nndhurst, in the Colony of Victoria, Australia, do solemnly and sincerely declare, that guided by the desire that all who mny become afflicted a3 I wns may bo enabled to tukc advautugo of my publication, I make the followir.g declaration : On the 25!h June, 1877, my son Aifred, six years of age, was iiwidentiilly hurt with au uxe on ilia knee. lat once look all pains to procure medical aspifiunce, by calling at, first on I)r Austin, who was subsequently assisted by Drs Pen fold and Macgiiiivrny. However, in spito of e-11 the combined efforts of the said gentlemen, the malady took such a bad turn that the patiect was lying in uninterrupted wound-fever, and on the 17th August, 1877, the opinion was given by Dr Maeg'llivniy, that an utnputation of tho injured limb hud ' become iar.perativr, iv order to save life. At this juncture I called on Messrs Zander snd B«ne, priiciiring soii-o of tluir Extract of tho Ettci'ivptua Glcbuluivand by tho application of tho Etimo I hrid tho e:ili.~laclion of seeingmy eon within i fortnight out of rll dar.gor, and to-day he ia rtcovi red. I ma)- just add that it was when {ho eriais had been reached, iliut Iho rx'nnt referred to was first applied. I abstidn from txpreeeing my feelings toward* MeEera Sunder and Sons in this declaration, but anyone mny imagiuc them butter than I can describe them in words. And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the Parliament of Victoria, rendering peisons making a f;il*e declaration punishable for wilful and corrupt perjury.—tfjtAKZ ]?aabe, Declared at Sandhurst, in the Colony of Victoria, this seventeenth day of October, cue thousand eight hundred and seventy- seven, before me, Moriiz Colin, J.I 3. ITS CLAIM AS A CURATIVE. It has now become tho fashion with tho invpnrera or discoverers of remedial agents to claim something little short of infallibility and universality of euro for their respective agents. Messrs Sander and Ssns do nothing of the sort. They have confidence tlmt their oil poeacesca uiuny virtues $ but tho full ijxtent of these they do not know yet. They are cow collecting duta, and they are mos!. careful and searching in performing thio. It is quite sure then, that their eucalypti oil can fairly assert itself to be a grand panacea for many of the ills that flesh is heir to. In Scarlet, Typhoid, or any case of Fever, no-Ling will protect better agaiuat contagion than a few drops of tlio oil poured in the palm of tho hand, and rubbed in, in order to liberate the vapors, or sprinkled over the clothes. 'Iho perfume will be noticed for a greut length of time. For CAildrai Attending Schools, the same mode may be adopted. In Cases of Sickness, a few drops put into a saucer, and put into the room will, being an etherio oil, evaporate, and fill tho room with the purifying vapor. Are you obliged to Travel! A few drops occasionally rubbed on the body, will protect agfak>st any contagion you may be exposed to, iv coming in direct contact with sick peraons, or in sleeping in the aam? room with, or in beds occupied previously by fick persons. All Jlottllceepers will do well to sprinkle from time to time in drawers, where linen is usually kept, a few drops of the puro essoutial oil. It produces no spots whatever, us every particlo of it evaporates, uuil nothing rcmnius. In short, teftere a disinfectant is needed, the pure essential eeualypti oil ought to be the one you have recourse to, and no faiu'lj ought to be without it. For all Wounds, Cuts, Stints, Scaldings, Ulcers, and Cancerous Wounds, a piece oi linen, wrapped round tho suffering p'-irt, find, moistened with a few drops of the eucalypti I'oeeuce, will stop »U pain, and effect a speed) cure. In eases where a piece of linen cannot bo applied, the moistening of the suffering part with tho pure 0.l will do as well. In Case of Colds moislea tho nosttila with a few drops aud inhuls tho vapour, aud you will feel the immediate relief, aud entire riddance cf the heat. In all cases w/tsre ite Lungs may he Affected, the above-mentioned process, continually repeated, will be the beat llmt can be advised. In eases of Rheumatism, a mixture oi one part of the pure essential eucalypti oil with three parts of spirits oJ wine, well rubbeci in tho suffering part, has acted belter than any other remedy. In ell cases of Inflammation, the eil may bo applied to the p irt affected. In severe cases of Toothache of rheumatic origin, th>j puro essence may be applied on the external p:)rt of tho face. In cases of Inflammation of the Eyes, apply tho puro oil to iho outado of tho eyelids. Headache and Rksumaiie Pains'in tho Head are positively removed and cured by rubbing tho oil on tho ail'octcd parts. For many Cases of Severs Bruises the oil lias proved the beet remedy. Inwardly used, fako three or four drops in half v tumbler of water. Tho essence effects a most surprising change of tho whole constitution, correcting indirection, nnd creating n healthy appotito. S&glTN'o other essence is genuine except that in the vials bearing on tbo labels our aignature and trade mark. To bo bad at the manufactory, SAKDEE AND SONS, Bridge street, Sandhurst, Victoria.
