Last night.

A fire broke out at Porter and Go's, largo ironmongery warehouses, Queen street, at 9 o'clock. Dense masses of smoko were pouring out at the roof aud wirjdbwH of the packing rooms, where there were a number of crates and straw. The accountants and clerks were in the counting-house working'at books at the time, wnen they smelt fire, and gave the alarm.
