MOANATAIRI.

The usual weekly report of the manager is as follows:—"150 feet level.—All Nations leader—ln driving west a slide has been met with heaving the reef south. I think this has now been picked up again as quartz is making in the face. The dopes on this reef show colors of gold, otherwise there is no change. 80 feet level—Tn the drive from Ko. 2 reef on a branch of No. 3 another leader has been met with 6 feet in on hanging wall. It is striking parallel with the former, and shows colors of gold. A prospecting cross-cut is now protesting to strike main slide to ascertain where any other payable leaders exist here before sloping is started. Intermediate level.--The new leader met with in the level ■hove a fortnight since, could not be rpcognised at this level. A winze has therefore been sunk on it, and from this oOlbs of specimens were obtained. A few feet before breaking through the leader became rather split, but being in good country will no doubt make again. Stopeß throuehout the mine show no change, and th? crushing stuff is showing uo-cry we u. Tunnel cross-cut south has beCixtended 10 feefc this week, through BtilTcountry intersected by stringers ot quartz. There is now the appearance of a favorable change near at hand, when better progress will be made.—l am, &c, Bobebt Comer.
