AUCKLAND.
This day. A Lunatic Killed. A boy burglar: A cart conveying an escaped lunatic named fiobcrt Glover into town, capsized and the lunatic was killed. The constable was also severely injured. A lad of ten years named Williams, son of,a respectable citizen, was charged at the Police Oourlj this morning with breaking and entering Brooks' boot warehouse, and stealing money therefrom. Money had been missing for some time, and a detective remained in the premises all night, the boy being caught early in the morning, after entering with a skeleton key and securing the money. He was committed for trial at the Supreme Court.
