A person whilst performing his daily dutit s in one of our stores, happened to tread on a rusty nail, which so inconvenienced him for some d&ys.. that he could neither put his foot to the ground or wear a boot —the part being so painful. It is qu.te sure then, that their eucalypti oil can fairly assert itself to be a grund panacea for many of the ilia that fleeb. is heir to. In Scarlet, Typhoid, or any cane of Fever, noibiug will protect, better against contagion than a fevr drops of the oil poured in the pulm of the bund, nnd rubbed in, in order to liberate tho vjipora, or sprinkled over the clothes. The perfume will bo noticed for a great length of time. For Children Attending, Schools, the same mode may b» adopted. In Cases of Sickness, a few drops put into a eauccr, and put into the room will, being un elheric oil, evaporate, and fill the room with tbe purifying vapor. , Are you obliged to Travel! A £ew drops occasionally rubbed on tbe body, will protect against any contagion you may be exposed to, in coming in direct contact with sick persons, or in sleeping in the sama room with, or in beds occupied previously by ack petsons. All Motel/beepers will do well to sprinkle from time to timo in drawers, where linen ia nsually kept, a lew drops of the pure essential oil. it produces no spots whatever, us every particle of it evaporates, and nothing remaine. In short, where a disinfectant i? needed, the pure essential ecualypti oil ought to be tho one you have recourse to, and np family ought to bo without it. For all (Founds, Cuts, Burns, Sealdings, Ulcers, and Cancerous Wounds, a piece ot linen wrapped vound the suffering part, and moistened with a few drops of the eucalypti eßsenoe, will Blop all pain, and effect a speedy cure. In cases whore a pioca of linen cannot be applied, the moistening of tho Buffering part with the pure oil will do as well. ' In Case of Colds moisten the nostrils with a few drops and inhale the vapour, and you will: feel the immediate relief, and entire riddunce of the heat. In all cases where the Lungs may le Affected, the above-mentioned process, continually revealed, will bo tho best that can be advised. In cases of Mliemnatmn, a mixture of one part of the pure essential eucalypti oil with three pamot spirituol wins, well rubbed in the suffering purl, has acted bettor than any olhtr remedy. In all cases of Inflammation, the sil may be applied to the pars. aiUviad. In severe cases of Toothache of rheumatic origin, th;: pure essunco ruiiy ba applied on the external putt of tho face. In cases of Inflammation of Hie Byes, apply tho purs oil to the oufcide of the eyelids. Headache and Rheumatic Pains m the Head are positively removed add cured by rubbing the oil on the affected parts. For many Cases of Severe Bruises the ! oil has proved the best remedy.' Inwardly used, take three or four drops in half v tumbler of water. The essence eiiccts a most surprising cbungo of the whole constitution, correcting indigestion, and creating a healthy appetite.
