Weiiington, Last night. In the Council to-day, all the important business was again adjourned till Thursday. OTTII AMBITIOUS AGKNT-GENERAL. Amonp the notices given was one by Sir F, Bell concerning Sir Julius Vogel endeavoring to enter the House of Commons. TE "WHITl's FOIEOWEBS. Mr hitaker notified he would introduce a Bill to amend the Prisons Act, there being some doubt as to the legality of confining the Maoriei where they are at present. The question of breach of privilege re the Kinross cose was brought up, but was postponed, Mr Whitaker promising to examine the law upon the subject. The Council adjourned at 3.3 U.
