Last night.
Xatereßting to Stock Owners.
A number of gentlemen interested in stock-breeding attended the trial yesterday at the Addiugton sale yards of Little*s chemical preparation recently invented for sheep dipping. Twenty selected sheep were dipped, and the experiment was highly successful, ticks, &c., being immediately destroyed. The cost of the composition amounts to two pounds per thousand sheep. A motion was proposed last night at the City Council changing the amount of the mayoral salary from £300 per annum to any sum which might be voted from time to time, but it was negatived.
