A determination to have their
Tray. The Committee of Management of' Hie Opposition f state in reference- to the rumors circulated in the papers regarding the coalition, that such, are entirely without foundation. They say no member of their party ever contemplated such a mowment, nor will any of them agree to a coalition. It was reported tins morning that the Government made overtures to the Opposition to form a Ministry this way, Whitaker to be Premier, and, ho and Macaudrew to. choose from respective parties alternate members of the Ministry, but the proposal was rejected. It is understood the Government are to remain firm .in their determination to keep back the want of confidence motion till such time as their measures of reforms have been passed or ricgaiired, perfectly regardless whether the Opposition grant supplies or not.
