Last tiigbi The 3STaval Brigade at Fractie. The Naval Brigade pinnace, in ch&ge of Captain Lelloy and Lieut. Parfer, with 40 men, met with an acciden at ruu practice on a training cruise. A four pounder carronade got choked, a;d a charge vms brokeu into to (tear the vent with loose povder. This failing, the gun was laided cleared,. aud remounted in the piniace. ()u being fired the explosion caugh the loose powder which exploded, and also caught the remaining charges in theboat. The esplosion scorched and wotnded Seamen Bryan, Jones, and Waite, who
were attended by Dr Kenderdine. The wouuds arc not dangerous.
