The return banked on Saturday was tho produce of 280 tons of general stuff und a parcel of specimens. The weekly report of the rn'ne tnsmaser is as follows :—" 80 feet level. In driving went No. 2 reef is 1J- feet thick, and shows colorjs of gold, I am now expecting to pick up th<- branches of No. 3 about here. The drives and stopes on No. 3 are looking promising. I may mentiou there aro several leuders being driven on (three of them within a distance of 30 feet), and it is no use detailing further. Several nice patches of specimens have been broken from these leaders daring the fortnight, and there is still a promising appearance for gold. The slopes on All Nations leader are without change. Tunnel cross-cut south has been extended 13 feet this week, hut is troublesome to work, being tight and letting out water from tho face. During past fortnight we have crushed 290 tons including 2 cwt of picked atone and specimem. The yield from this is 366 ounces retorted gold.—l am &c. EOBEBT COMBE.
