TESTIMONIALS. Certificate. Sandhurst, tho Ist of Maroh, 1878. I have been investigating Messrs Sander and Sons' Eucalypti Extract Bince its discovery, and I havo to admit that there i 8 betides it no medicament I know of, of such universal effect on the human system. I observed in the first instance that; it checks completely all inflammations of whatever kind—inflammation of the chest, lungs, oil throat affections, such as bronchitis, and diptheria. It alleviates and cures oil pains of rheumatic nature, neuralgia, &c, I ba»e used it with unparalleled success in swellings, bruises, sprains, wends of all kinds, and of most serious nature, as well as in ail disorders of the bowels, diarrhoea, &c. lam fully convinced that the invention of that medicament will meet with the greatest estimation, and I gladly acknowledge its merits for the benefit of the public,— John Cbtjicicshank, M.D., L/R.C.S.E., Health Officer. 2nd V arch, 1878. I certify to the seal of the Council of the Oi'y of fcancihurst being affixed to this docu--ment, D. Macdougal), Town Clerk. Statutory Declaration. I, Frnnz Rnabe, of Ironbark, Sandhurst, in the Colony of Victoria, Australia, do solemnly and sincerely declare, that guided! by the desire that all who may becon<e afflicted as I was may be enabled to take advantage of my publication, I make the following declaration : On the 25th June, 1877, my son Alfred, six years of ago, was accidentally hurt with an axe on the knee. lat once look oil pains to procure nudical assistance, by calling at first on Dr Austin, who was subsequently assisted" by Drs Penfold and Macgillivray. However, in spite of all the combined efforts of the said gentlemPD, the malady took such a bad turn that the patieDt was lying in uninterrupted wound-fever, and on the 17th August, 1877, the opinion was given by Dr Macgillivray, that an amputation of the injured limb had become imperative, in*order to save life. At this juncture I called on Messrs Sander and ! Sore, procuring some of their Extract of tho Eucalyptus Globulus, and by the application of the came I had the sat infection of seeing my son within <i fortnight out of all danger, and to-day he iB recovered. I may just add thafe it was when tho crisis bad been reached, that the extract referred to was first applied. I fibataiu from expressing ruy feelings towards Messrs Sander and Sons in this declaration, but anyone may imagine them better than I can describe them in words. And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of the provisions of an Act of the Parliament of Vic;oria, rendering persons making a false declaration punishable for wilful and corrupt . perjury.—Fbasz lUabe, Declared at Sand- i hurst, in the Colony of Victoria, this seventeem h day of October, one thousand eight hundred and serenty-seven, before me, Morit?! Cohn, J.P, From tlie Donald Times. February 2,1878. Mr H. Brown, a pplitter and laborer, who resifU-s about Donald, informs, and has shown a-, that he hae suffered from a sprained ankle for seven months. -He procured the ; best medical advice in the district, and paid as high as 17a for one bottle of lotion. It did him no good, »cd at last he tried Sander's Eucalypti Essence. Three botties cured his leg, and he is now as strong as ever. Government Botanist's Opinion Baron Yon Mueller, the Government botanißt, declares our extract to be a moat excellent one. Cases of Earache. Io November, 1877, the eldeßt boy of Mr G. Morgan, Donald, awoke in the night crying with earache. After some time the , extract, was thought of, and tried. 'Ihe little fellow waa cured and asleep in ten minutes. A day or two -after this Mr Morgan met; Mr French, of Coraek station, who complained of having n bad earache and paiu in the bead. . He persuaded the sufferer to try the Eucalypti i Extract, and having put two drops in his eir, and rubbed some round the ear, the pain iustantly disappeared. Cases of Severe Bruises In November, 1877, Mrs Weppner who resides in i olbinabbin (Runnymede), informed the manufacturers that the extract applied twice restored health to her daughter, eleven years of age, who h^d been rushed and trampled upon by a cow. Tbe child was bruited more or less all over the body, blecdiDg profusely at the head, and the temples had become quite black. Mr D. Obermann, residing near tbe gas works, who was suffering from wounds which 1 he could not get rid of during Bix months, and who was cur- d by tbe use of the extract ' within four weeks, introduced to Sander and Sons, in November, a man bar.ng his arm ! bruised severely at a crushing machine in ' Long Gully. That man applied the extract, and the accident did not even necessitate as much as an interruption in his attendance at work. . Mr Franz Wehrle, Sailor's Gully, has like--1 wise cured one of his hands, which was 1 severely bruised—or rather, we should say, 1 crushed—through a fall of etone upon it. i Mr H. Ficferl, of Iron hark, has also sue- ■ cessfully applied tho extract to a finger injured in the samo way. To the Editor of the Newcastle Morning Herald and Miners' Advocate. 12th February, 1878. \ Faring received an ugly wouud some short . time ago in the forearm from a dog bite, and ' which caused me great pain, the arm swelling up to tbe shoulder, and partially deterring me lrom following my daily avocation —that the flesh hud been poisoned I bad not the slightest doubt—l tried fomentation arid other remedioe, but still the limb got worse. ' Seeing the Eucalypti Essence advertised in L the columns of the JBerald and Advocate, I ' purchased a bottle in order to try its efficacy upon the wound. Upon the first application tbe swelling almost entirely disappeared, the pain was considerably relieved, and the third day after applying tho oil, 1 felt no inconvenience whatever, and I am now firmly con- ■* vinced that in cases of wouud», swellings, 1 strains, or bruises, the Eucalypti is a safe 1 remedy, and would advise all who might be ' suffering from any of the above to give the 1 " Essence " a trial. I I am, sir, yours &c, J. Peedom. Plattsburg, February 6tb, 1878. From the JBendigo Evening News. Mr Adoiphug Junghenn, of Ironbark, called at our oflice on Monday, the 24th December, 1877, and narrated the following:—" My ! little girl, ten years of age, had been complaining some time of her leg being very sore j above the knee, and I sent her to see Dr Atkinson, who immediately pronounced tbe case a bad one, and said he could give the child nothing, but sho must lay still f for three months, after which period ' a pieoe of bone would work its way out. I Not satisfied with that opinion, I went tho next day to Dr James Bojd, who attended mj '
