But durin; tlio f»uv wfcke treatment of Dr Boyd, the Je<L f w«s growing worst) and tho child sinking. I )<!'<• bnird in tho meantime of the Eucalypti Extract, working some wonderful cures, and tit. tho end of the'period mentioned I obtained a bottle of tho extract, and first used it on Monday, tho 10th December. Tho doctor's visits then ceased, tho child being in a very low condition, and I gave my little girl three drops each night and morning, and also applied it to tho part affected, for two weeks, at the cud ot which time I wns exceedingly pleased to find she had co much improved as to bo ablo to run about. I regard tho cure effected by tho extract ns simply marvellous, and I have bo' n recommending tho latter to my friends who are suffering." From the Bendigo Evening News. Howard Place, March 11th, 1878. Messrs Sander and Sonn—l havo much pleaßuru in tes^fying to the proved excellence of yous Eucalypti Extract. For seven weeks I suffered intense pnin from a sprained ankle (which had swollen much), and could get no relief, although I wae under medical treatment, till at lust I purchased a bottle of your ex* tract, und after using three bottles full, my ankle was completely cured. I would now recommend all persons suffering similarly to try your Eucalyptus Extract, us I can assure them it is a auro euro.—Edward Gibson. To the Editor of the Nowcasile Morning Herald and Miners' Advocate. Murch 18th. Sir, —Having suffered from a bad wound in the leg for a long time, I tried soverul remedies, none of which had tho desired effect; and, H3 a forlorn hope, tried a bottle of the "Eucalypti," and I am happy to have tbo opportunity of bearing record to its efficacy ; although having used but ono small bottle, tho wound is now healed. You are at liberty to give publicity to the above, as I believe the knowledge of this fine medicine cannot be too well known. —Williuin Harris, Wallsend. From the CooTctown Courier. February 23rd, 1878. We have received tho following testimony in favor of tho new curative agent from our correspondent at Port Douglas:—"The Eucalypti preparation is being experimented with here, and the few bottles that huvo been , disposed of, prove all that has been written with regard to the efficacy of this discovery. A person whilst performing his daily duties j in one of our stores, happened to tread on n rusty nail, which so inconvenienced him for some days, that ho could neither put his foot to tho ground or wear a boot—the part being so painful. Ho was purßuaded to try this new preparation, and upon applying the liquid twice, inimenao relief was soon experienced, and tho person referred to is now able to walk about as if nothing hud happened to him. This came within my own observation, therefore I cau vouch ior tho truth of this assertion."' Case of Swelling. In l?o?ember, 1877, the wife of Mr Fickel Ironburk suffered in the bond of tho knee from n swelling, which hud formed a lump of considerable eize, disabling her from attending to uny work. She removed the t>wc!H&(f com» | pletely by a continued application of the extract. ITS CLAIM AS A CURATIVE. It lias now become the fashion with the inventors or discovertrs of remedial, agents to claim something little short of infullibiiity and universality of cure for their respective agents. Messrs Sunder and S&ris do uoihing of the Eort. They have confidence *!mt their oil possesses many virtues 5 but the full extent of these they do not know yet. They are now collecting dsita, and they are most careful and searching in performing this. It is quite sure then, that their eucalypti oil can fairly assert itself to be a grand panacea for many of the Ills that llesh. is heir to. In Scarlet, Typhoid, or any cane of Fever, nothing will protect better against contagion than a few drops of the oil poured in the palm of tha hand, and rubbed in, in order to liberate the vapors, or sprinkled over the clothes. The perfume will be noticed for a great length of time. For Children Attending Schools, the same mode may be adopted. i In Cases of Sickneis, a few drops put into a saucer, and put into the room will, being an etheric oil, evaporate, and fill tho room with the purifying vapor. Are you obliged to Travel/ A few drops occasionally rubbed on tho body, will protect against any contagion you may be expoßedto, in coming in direct contact with sick persons, or in' sleeping in the same room with, or in beds occupied previously by eick persons. All Sotelkeepers wiJl do well to sprinkle frojp time to time in drawers, where linen is usually kept, a few dropa of tho pure essential oil. It produces 110 apots whatever, as every particle of it evaporateß, and nothing remains. In short, where a disinfectant is needed, the pure essential ecuulypti oil ought to be the one you have recourse to, and no family ought to be without it. For all (Founds, Cuts, Burns, .Scoldings, Ulcers, and Cancerous Wounds, a piece of linen wrapped round the suffering part, i-md moistened with a fsw drops of tho eucalypti essence, will slop all pain, and effect a speed? cure. In cases where a piece of linen cannot bo applied, the moistening of the suffering part with the pure oil will do as well. In Ca:3 of Colds moisten the nostrils with a few drops and inhale (.he vapour, and you will feel the immediate relief, aud entire riddance of the heat. In all cases where the Lungs may he Affected, the above-mentioned process, contin unlly repeated, will be the bast that can be ud vised. In cases of Rheumatism, a mixture of one part of the pure essential eucalypti oil with three parta of spirilß ot wine, well rubbed in the suffering part, has acted better than any other remedy. In all cases of Inflammation, the eil may be applied to tho part uifectod. In severe cases of Toothache of rheumatic origin, the- pure essopco may bo applied on the external part of the face. In cases of Inflammation of tlie Eyes, apply the pure oil to tho outside of the eyelids. Headache and Rheumatic Pains in the Mead are positively removed and cured by rubbing tho oil on Ihe affected parts. For. many Cases of Severe Bruises the oil has proved the best remedy. Inwardly used, take three or four drops in half a tumbler of water. The eaaonco effects a most surprising change of tho whole constitution, correcting indigestion, and creating ij Jjiealthy uppotito. tl^'TSo other essenco iB genuinp except that in the viale bearing on the labels our signature and trade mark.
