Rirl for thu nest four weeks. This i'octor raid (he bone was diseased, und a yiecs would have lo como out before tho leg would get well. But durin.' the four wenka treatment of l)r Bojd, the lep was Rrowiiip worse and tho child sinking. I hiui luwrl in the meantime of ibo Eucalypti Extract, working some wonderful cures, and «t the end of tho period mentioned I obtained a bottle of the extract, rind first used if. on Monday, tho 10th December. The doctor's visits then ceased, the child boing in a very low condition, and I gave my little girl three drops eai-h night and morning, and also applied it to tho part affected, for two weokw, at the end of which time I wns exceedingly pleased to find she had so much improved as to bo able !o run about. I regard the euro effected by the extract as simply marvellous, and I have be- n recommending iho latter to my friends who arc suffering." From tke JBendigo Evening News. Howard Place, March 11th, 1878. j Messrs Sander and Sons—l have much pleosuro in testifying to the proved excellence of your Eucalypti Extract. For seven weeks I suffered intense pniu from a sprained ankle (which bad swollen much), and could get no j relief, although I was under medical treatment, ! till at Intfc I purchased n bottle of your extract, und after using three bottles fill", my ankle was completely-cured. I would now recommend all persons suffering similarly to try your Eucalyptus Extract, oa I can oseuro them it is a sure euro.—Edward Gibson. To the Editor of the Jsotvoastle Morning I Herald and Miners' Advocate. Miirch 18th. Sir, —Having suffared from a bad wound in tho leg for a long time, I tried several remedies, none of which had the desired ciFecfc; and, as a forlorn hope, tried a bottle of the "Eucalypti," and I am hr.ppy to have the opportunity of bearing record to its efficacy ; although having used but. one small bottle, the wound is now healed. You aro at liberty to give publicity to the above, as 1 believe the knowledge of this flue medicine cannot be too well known. —William Harris, Wallsend. From the CooJctown Courier. February 23rd, 1878. We have received the following testimony in favor of- the new curative agent from our correspondent »t Port Douglas:—"Tho Eucalypti preparation is being experimented with here, and the few bottlea that have been disposed of, prove »11 that h»a been written with regard to tbe efficacy of this discovery. A person whilst performing hie daily duties in one of our stores, happened to tread oa v | rusty nail, which so inconvenienced him for ] Bumo dayß, that he could neither put his foot.! to the ground or wear a boot —the part being so painful. He was pursuaded to try this ' new preparation, and upon applying the liquid twice, immense relief soon experienced, and tho pursei referred to ia new able to walk about as if n thing hud happened to him. This came within my own observation, therefore I can vouch for the truth of tbia assertion." Case of Swelling. * In November, 1877, the wife of Mr ITickel Iron bark •euffored in tho brnd of the knee from a swelling, which had formed a lump of considerable size, disabling her from tit-lending to any work. She- removed tho owellug completely by a continued application of the extract. ITS CLAIM AS A CUBATIYE. Ifc has now become the fashion with the in* ventora or discoverers of remedial agenta to claim something little short of infallibility and univt-raalifcy of euro for their respective agents. Messrs Sander aud Suns do nothing of tbe sort. They have confidenco that their oil pbaEeoses muny virtues; but the full extent of these they do not know yet. They are now collecting data, aud they arc most careful and searching in performing this. It is quite sure then, that their eucalypti oil can fairly assert itself to be a grand panacea for many of the ills that fleth io heir to. In Scarlet, Typhoid, or any cane of Fever, nothing will protect better against contagion than a few drops of the oil poured in the palm of the hand, and rubbed in, in order to liberate the vapors, or sprinkled over the clothes. Tho perfume will be noticed for a great length of time.
For Children Attending Schools, the same mode may bo adopted. In Cases of Sickness, a few drops put into a saucer, aud put into the room will, being an otliei'ic oil, pvaporute, and fill the room with the purifying- vapor. Are you obliged to Travel! A few dronß occasionally rubbed on the body, will protect against any contagion you may be exposed to, in coming in direct contact with sick persons, or in sleeping in the same room with; or in beds occupied previously by sick persons. All Sotelkeepers will do well to sprinkle from time to tiuio in drawers, where Jinun is HBualiy kept, a few drops of the pave eeseatial oil. It produces no spots whalerer, as every particle of it evaporates/and nothing remains. ,In short, where a disinfectant is needed, the pure essential ecualypti oil ought to be the one you have recourse to, and no family ought to ba without it. For all Wounds, Qit;, Burns, Scoldings, Ulcers, and Cancerous Wounds, a piece of linen wrapped round tho suffering putt, and moistened with a few drops of the eucalypti essence, will stop all pain, and effect v sperdy cure. In oaaeß where a piece of linen cannot bo applied, the moistening of the suffering part with tho pure ojl will do as well. In Case of Colds moisten tho nostrils with a few drops and'inhale the vapour, and you will feel the immediate relief, and entire riddance of the heat. In all cases where the Lungs may be Affected, thp abo?e-inentioaed process, continually repeated, will bs the Jjeat that can be i advised. In cases of Rheumatism, a mixture of one part of the pure essential eucalypti oil with thveo parts of spirits of wine, well rubbed in tho suffering part, has acted belter than any other remedy. 'f.v, all cases of Inflammation, the eil may bo applied to the part affected. In severe cases of Tooihuc\o of rheumatic origin, the pure essence may be applied on the external part of the face. In cases of Inflammation of Hie JEyes, apply tho puro oil to the outside of the eyelids. i Headache and Rheumatic Pai'.is in the Mead are positively removed and cured by rubbing ihooiion ,th_9 affected parts. For many C'die? of Severe Bruises tho oil bas proved the beet remedy. Inwardly used, take three or four drops in half a tumbler o£ water. The eesenco eifeets a most surprising change of the whole tonBlitiiitic,7; correcting indigestion, and creating ■ a healthy'appeiftv,.
