THE NATIVE DIFFICULTY.
(To the Editor of the Evening Star.)
Sis,—l think the best way of- dealing with the native difficulty would be to lay the railway right on from Paeroa to Te Aroha. Let the work be done by armed t navvies, taking such of the men from the ~> Thames Volunteers as would be willing ; to work.
