The Georgia Minstrels.

There was a fall house at the Academy ' of Music on Saturday evening to witness the first performance of the Georgia Minstrels. The first part of the programme consisted of the inevitable chair business, in which, however, the members of .the company shewed themselves well up to the mark, the jokes of Bones and., T&mbo, and the enormous mouth of Billy- ' Wilson, proving irresistible agitators of the risible faculties of, the audience. . Amongst the songs were " Good bye, Liza Jane," " Sweet Chiming Belli," and other favorites, the choruses of which were especially well rendered. This was > followed by some double songs, and dances, solos, farces; etc., the. whole making a very entertaining programme. The manager announced then woold be an entire change of programme this & evening. ■
