CLIVE.
Last night. The election for Clire resulted as follows :—Ormond 505, Sheehan 360. Mr Sheehan received ajm.oat * block tote of the natives, of whom 180 are on the Olive roll. The polling, compared with the voting power, was probably the closest in the colony. There are only about 1100 namee of living voters, and nearly 1000 of them were polled.
