The Quarterly Licensing Meeting for the Districts of Thames and Hauraki, was held nt the Court House at noon to day. Present—Harry Kenrick Esq., E.M., Chairman, and It. Workman and John Brown Esqs., Commissioners. District op Thames. new application foe old house. Mary Hogan, Fountain Hotel, Pollen street. The police offered no objection, but the bench refused to grant the license as there was no necessity for a fresh house in that locality. TRANSFER OF LICEMSBS. . James McCannon, Excelsior Hotel, to Richard Tregonning. Granted. William Swindells, Waiotahi Hotel, to Frederick Eodewald. Granted, subject to aceomodation required by the Act, being at once supplied. W. McDowell, Empire Hotel, to C. F. Quint. Granted. District of llavraki. HEW iPPLICATION. Akuhata Mokcna, Hot Springs Hotel, Te Aroha. Adjourned for 14 dayg, pending arrival of Native Aiienor.
