'■ (To the Editor of the Evening Star.) Bißi—l certainly agree with " Batepayer " in last night's Star as to the desirability, of.the candidates for municipal honors letting us hear their views on some of the questions likely to occupy tbo Council during the ensuing year. Matters of vital importance to the bur-j nesses will crop up, and it would be important to hear the views of the different j candidates. In a short lime the Domestic ' Water Supply, irill be th» property of the Council. Comprehensive drainage will bo necessary, alteration of Borough boundaries, and Mr McGowan's proposal to borrow a large sum of money on debentures payable in 25 years—these, and many other matters, a,number of the burgesses are anxious to hear the opinion of the intending Councillors on.—l am., Ac, *' '■ A Bubgess.
