For seven weeks I suffered intense pain from a sprained - ankle (which bdd swollen much), and could get no relief, although I was under medical treatment, till at' list I purchased a bottle of your ex* tract, und after using three bottles full, my ankle was completely cured. Sir, —Having suffered from a bad wound in the leg for a long time, I tried several remedies, none of which had the desired effect; and, as a forlorn hope, tried a bottle of the M Eucalypti,'' and I am happy to have tlie opportunity of bearing record to its efficacy ; although having used but one small bottle, the wound is now healed. You are at liberty to give publicity to the above, as I believe the knowledge of this fine medicine cannot be too well known.^-William Harris, Wallsendi From the CooJctoxon Courier. < j February 23rd, 1878. We hare received the following testimony in favor of the new curative agent from our correspondent at Port Douglas:—^Tbe Eucalypti preparation is being experimented with here, and the few bottles that hare been disposed: of, prove all that has been written with regard to the efficacy of this discovery. A person whilst performing his daily duties in one of our stores, happened to tread on a rusty nail, whioh. so inconvenienced him'for some days, that, he could neither pot bis: foot to the ground or wear a boot—the part being so painful. He was pursuaded to try this new preparation, and upon applying the liquid twice, immense relief was soon experienced, and the person referred to is now able to walk about as if nothing had happened to him. This came within my own observation, therefore I can Touch for the truth of this assertion." Case of Swelling. In November, 1877, the wife of Mr Fickel Ironbark suffered in the bend of the knee from a swelling, which had formed a lump of considerable size, disabling her-from attending to any work. She removed the swelling com* pletely by a continued application of the extract. ■ ITS CLAIM AS A CUBATIVE. It has now become the fashion with the inventors or discoverers of remedial agents to claim something little short of infallibility and universality of cure for their respective agents. Messrs Sander aud Sons do nothing of the sort. They have confidence that their oil possesses many virtues; but the full extent of these they do not know yet. They are sow collecting data, and they are most careful and searching in performing this. It is quite sure then, that their eucalypti oil can fairly assert itself to be a grand panacea for many of the ills that flesh is heir to* In Scarlet, Typhoid, or any vote of Fever, nothing will protect better against contagion than a few drops of the oil poured in the palm of the hand, and rubbed in, in order to liberate the rapors, or sprinkled over the clothes. The perfume will be noticed for » great length of time. [ Fpr Children Attending Schools, the same mode may be adopted. In Cases of Sickness, a few drops put into • saucer, and put into the room will, being an etherio oil, evaporate, and fill the room with the purifying vapor. Are you obliged to Travel! A few drops occasionally rubbed on the body, will protect against any contagion you may be exposed to, in coming in direct contact with sick persons, or in sleeping in the same room with, or in bods occupied previously by sick persons. All Hotelkeepers will do well to sprinkle from time to time in drawers, where linen is usually kept, a few drops of the pure essential oil. lfc produces no spots whatever, as every particle of it evaporates, and nothing remains. In short, tohere a disinfectant is needed, the pure essential ecualypti oil ought to be the owe you have recourse to, and no family ought to be without it. For all (Founds, Cuts, Burns, Scoldings, UiZers, and Cancerous Wound*, a piece of i linen, wrapped round tho suffering part, and | moistened with a few drops of the eucalypti essence, will stop all pain, and effect a speedy cure. In cases where a piece of linen cannot be applied, the moistening of the suffering part with the pure oil will do as well. In Cose of Colds moisten the nostrils with | a few drops and inhale the vapour, and you ' will feel the immediate relief, and entire riddance of the heat. In all cases where the Lungs may he Affected, the above-mentioned process, contiuually repeated, will be the best that can be advised. In cases of Mheumatism, a mixture of one part of the pure essential eucalypti oil with three partß of spirits of wine, well rubbed in the suffering part, has acted better than any other remedy. ;. In all vases of Inflammation, the ail may be applied to the part affected. In severe cases of Toothache of rheumatic origin, the pure essence may be applied on the external part of the face. In cases of Inflammation of the Eyes, apply the pure oil to the outside of the eyelids. Headache and Rheumatic Pains in the Head are positively removed aud cured by rubbing the oil on the effected parts. For many Cases of Severe Bruises the oil has proved the best remedy. Inwardly used, take three or four drops in half a tumbler of water. The essence effects a most surprising change of the whole constitution, correcting indigestion, and creating a healthy appetite. tgTUo other essence ig genuine except that in the vials bearing on the labels our signature and trade mark.
